Lab space

The total area of the first phase of the laboratory is approximately 150 square metres.
There are 8 sets of experiment benches located within 4 half-closed units, each unit occupies approximately 14~17 square metres.
Each bench is approximately 5.5 metres long and 0.65 metres wide and can accommodate two people working at the same time; it is equipped with a sink, a small desktop clean bench(0.8x0.6x0.8m), reagent racks, and 8

independent 240v power sockets. There are also two storage cabinets and two chairs under the table.

We reserve for each set of test benches:

• 0.4 cubic metres of fireproof, corrosive, and toxic reagent storage space.
• 2x5L waste liquid tank
• 0.4 cubic metres of 4°C cold storage space
• Provides 0.25 cubic metres of -20°C refrigeration space.
• 0.25 cubic metres of -80°C storage space*
• 0.25 cubic metres of ventilated constant temperature reagent storage space*

The public area is approximately 70 sqm and is equipped with large instruments for public use:

• -80°C refrigerator
• -20°C refrigerator
• 4°C refrigerator
• Temperature-adjustable cell incubation room 
• Autoclave device, in washing & drying room
• Large clean bench 1.6x0.7m
• Large ventilation bench (fume cupboard) 1.6x0.7m
• Constant temperature cell culture room

• 350 AUD per week per bench per person
• 450 AUD per week per bench for 2 persons
